If you're coming through the US, it is best to fly through Miami to St. Maarten, then by small plane to Saint Barths, via 10 minute WinAir flight, or via 35 minute ferry boat.

Another route would be connecting in Puerto Rico and then onward via Tradewind Aviation direct to Saint Barths. Southwest Airlines also just opened a flight from Orlando to St Marteen.
